Good Girls is an American crime comedy-drama television series created by Jenna Bans that premiered on NBC on February 26, 2018. The series is executive produced by Bans, Dean Parisot (who directed the pilot) and Jeannine Renshaw for Universal Television. The first season ended on April 30, 2018. On May 7, 2018, NBC renewed the series for a second season. The series was released on Netflix internationally on July 4, 2018.

Plot
The series follows three suburban Detroit mothers, two of whom are sisters, who are having a hard time trying to make ends meet. They are tired of having everything taken away from them so they decide to pull off an unlikely heist by robbing a supermarket, only to discover that they're in for more than they bargained. Their successful robbery attracts the attention of the store manager after he recognizes one of the women, but for a different reason altogether tied to the money.

Production
Casting
Originally, Kathleen Rose Perkins was cast in the role of Beth in the pilot. Later it was confirmed she had left the project and the role would be recast. Christina Hendricks was announced as her replacement on July 10, 2017.
Filming
The first season was filmed at Third Rail Studios in Doraville, Georgia. For its second season, the series will relocate to Los Angeles.

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 62% based on 34 reviews, with an average rating of 6.32/10. Metacritic, which uses a normalized rating to reviews, assigned a weight average score of 60 out of 100, based on 21 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".
